Fujitsu becomes GENERAL: the same units, the same us

The maker of our units is changing its name: from 1 January 2026 Fujitsu General trades as GENERAL. Nothing changes for you; here is what to know.

The Fujitsu and GENERAL logos side by side

Big news from the maker: Fujitsu General, the company building the air conditioners and heat pumps we have installed since 2006, trades as GENERAL from 1 January 2026. The change follows the takeover of their air-conditioning division by the American Paloma Rheem group in August 2025.

The most important part first: the units are the same. The same factories, the same engineers, the same technology. What changes is the name on the badge, and gradually: new models arrive marked GENERAL while existing ones keep selling as Fujitsu. The same unit will carry two codes for a while, for example the AOYG outdoor unit at Fujitsu and AOHG at GENERAL: one and the same machine.

For you as a buyer and owner nothing changes. The warranty stands as agreed, two years and up to five with regular annual maintenance. Service, parts and installation stay with us, as they always have. We remain the authorised distributor and service for Bosnia and Herzegovina, now for both names.

That is why the site footer carries both logos, Fujitsu and GENERAL, while the transition lasts. If a badge on a new unit confuses you, call us: we will tell you exactly which model it is and what came before it.
