In short: we receive personal data only when you send it to us, we use it to answer you and arrange the work, we do not sell it and we send you no advertising. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are set only if you agree; there are no advertising cookies.

Who processes your data

The controller is SERVIS ČOVIĆ-rashladni i klima uređaji d.o.o. Čitluk, Potpolje 19A, 88260 Čitluk, Bosnia and Herzegovina, ID number 4227671860003, with a branch in Metković (Mostarska 12, 20350 Metković, Croatia). For any question about your data, write to info@servis-covic.com or call +387 36 644 775.

What we collect

When you fill in the enquiry form, we store your name, e-mail, phone if you enter it, your message and the details of the enquiry you gave, such as the unit model, the installation site, the room size or the company name. With the enquiry we note the page it was sent from and its language.

When you write to us by e-mail or message, or call us, we use what you tell us only to answer.

We log the terms typed into the site search without any information about who typed them, to improve the search.

Like any web server, the server that receives requests for the site logs, for each request, the IP address, the time, the address requested and details of the browser. The form and the search also use the IP address briefly, in the server’s memory, to prevent abuse, and do not store it.

Why, and on what basis

We use enquiry data to answer you, prepare a quote and arrange installation or service. This is processing you asked for yourself, before a possible contract, and you confirm it when you send the form. We keep the server logs and the error reports in our legitimate interest in running the site securely and fixing faults.

We do not use enquiry data for advertising and do not sell it to anyone.

Analytics runs on your consent, which you give in the cookie notice and can withdraw at any time in the footer, under Cookie settings.

Who else is involved

The site runs on servers of Hetzner Online in Germany, with the database and files at Supabase in Frankfurt. The notification of your enquiry reaches us by e-mail through the Resend service. The maps on the Locations and Contact pages load from OpenFreeMap servers, which, like any server a browser loads something from, see your IP address.

If you agree in the cookie notice, the site turns on Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin), which records which pages you view, with which device and browser, and from which country and region; it does not store the IP address. Consent is not a condition of using the site, and without it none of this loads.

When the site or the form fails, an error report goes to Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), which keeps it in the European Union (Frankfurt). The report holds the page address, details of the browser, the IP address and, if the error happened while an enquiry was being sent, what was typed into the form. We use it only to find and fix the error.

How long

Enquiries sent through the form are deleted from the site’s database automatically after 12 months. The e-mail notification of an enquiry, and the data needed for a quote, an invoice, the warranty and service, we keep as long as the work and the warranty last and as long as the law requires. Server logs delete themselves after five weeks at most.

At your request we delete data sooner, except what the law requires us to keep.

Google Analytics keeps data on individual visits for 14 months at most, and Sentry keeps error reports for 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, have it transferred, or object to its processing. You can withdraw the consent given in the form at any time; this does not affect what was processed before. Write to info@servis-covic.com. Consent to cookies is withdrawn in the footer, under Cookie settings.

If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can turn to the Personal Data Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for the Metković branch to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

Cookies

Which cookie the site sets and what else it keeps in the browser is on the Cookies page.
