A heat pump in Herzegovina: what the certified numbers mean
SCOP, design load, output at −7 °C: our product pages carry independently certified numbers. Here is how to read them.

Heat pump brochures are full of numbers. On our product pages we show only the independently certified ones, Eurovent and HP KEYMARK, exactly as the certificate publishes them.
SCOP is the seasonal heating efficiency: how much heat you get per kilowatt of electricity across a whole season, not at one ideal point. The design load is the output the unit is certified for at −10 °C in the average European climate, and the output at −7 °C shows what the system holds when winter bites.
For Herzegovina this means the certified numbers cover the real winter for most towns along the Neretva and in the west. For the colder high-plateau towns, tell us where you are building and we will count with your town’s design temperature, not with a brochure.
Our heat pump calculator does exactly that: floor area, insulation and your town, then a capacity recommendation. And every certified row on a product page links straight to the certificate, so you can check for yourself.
