About the Waterstage Super High Power series

The Waterstage Super High Power series is a split air-to-water heat pump with a wall-mounted hydraulic module, which the manufacturer recommends for renovation: older or poorly insulated houses and large rooms. It works with radiators and underfloor heating and, according to the manufacturer, holds a high flow temperature without the backup heater even at very low outdoor temperatures. With an optional tank it also prepares domestic hot water. Control follows a heating curve automatically, and with optional parts underfloor heating and radiators are controlled separately.

The rating tests the unit on an imaginary reference house. The design load is what that house needs at the design temperature (−10 °C in the average European climate), not the unit’s capacity; where the unit falls short of it, the rating assumes an electric backup heater covers the difference. The “at least” figures show what the unit delivered to that house at the stated temperature, not the most it can give.

According to the manufacturer, the unit heats down to an outdoor temperature of -25 °C.

Heating capacity by outdoor temperature

The manufacturer's data from the design & technical manual: the maximum heating capacity at the outdoor temperature and the water temperature of the system. The calculator chooses a model by this table; the certified data above is what was measured independently.
