About the Waterstage Comfort series

The Waterstage Comfort series is a split air-to-water heat pump with a wall-mounted hydraulic module, for heating through underfloor heating or radiators. With an optional tank it also prepares domestic hot water, and the hydraulic module has a built-in backup electric heater. The controller sets the water temperature from a heating curve and the outdoor temperature, and with an optional kit it controls a lower and a higher temperature circuit separately, for example underfloor heating and radiators.

The rating tests the unit on an imaginary reference house. The design load is what that house needs at the design temperature (−10 °C in the average European climate), not the unit’s capacity; where the unit falls short of it, the rating assumes an electric backup heater covers the difference. The “at least” figures show what the unit delivered to that house at the stated temperature, not the most it can give.

According to the manufacturer, the unit heats down to an outdoor temperature of -20 °C.
